Santee Lakes Celebrates the Grand Opening of TOPWATER GRILL with a Weekend of Music, Boats, and Brews

Santee, CA – June 4, 2025 – Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve is thrilled to announce the Grand Opening of TOPWATER GRILL, the newest waterfront dining experience nestled within the heart of the park. The celebration kicks off with a fun-filled weekend on Saturday, June 14 and Sunday, June 15, featuring live music, food and drink specials, and unique activities for the whole family.
The opening of TOPWATER GRILL marks a significant milestone in the continued growth of Santee Lakes and its amenities. “We are proud to welcome Pacific Dining Group as our food and beverage partner,” said Cory Kading, Park & Recreation Director. “TOPWATER GRILL represents our ongoing commitment to enhancing the experience for all who visit Santee Lakes.”

Whether you're enjoying a casual lunch on the deck, sipping a cold drink with friends, or taking in live music on the waterfront, TOPWATER GRILL offers a fresh, local experience for parkgoers, campers, and the greater San Diego community. TOPWATER GRILL’s menu will feature California-American cuisine along with beverages from local breweries and wineries.
