River Kids Discovery Days: Dig & Discover the Past! at the Santee Barn

Do you like to dig in the dirt?  Enjoy looking for clues?  Ever wonder about what life was like for our ancestors hundreds of years ago?  If you get excited about uncovering the secrets of the past, then come to the Historic Santee Barn for a day archeology!  Kids will get to learn about the study of people and artifacts of ancient times by digging for archeological treasures in the 107 year old barnyard!  Kids will also get to play with mud to make native wildflower seed balls to help our local ecosystems thrive!
