Hello Santee!

Last Thursday, November 6th, we proudly hosted our 7th Annual Veterans Appreciation Golf Tournament, an unforgettable day dedicated to honoring those who have served. The event opened with a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem performed by Miranda Ramos, followed by a moving performance of America the Beautiful on saxophone by our very own Board Director, Joel Cruz. And of course, our tournament would not be complete without the iconic flyover from Showboss Productions, which signaled the start of a fun-filled day of golf, celebration, and heartfelt appreciation for our veterans. These remarkable moments set the tone for a day overflowing with gratitude, camaraderie, and community pride.

A heartfelt thank-you to Chick-fil-A Santee for providing a delicious breakfast to our players, and to Pork Belly’s BBQ for serving an outstanding lunch on the course. We also want to recognize everyone who participated in our Veteran Resource Expo. Your presence added so much value and support for our community’s veterans.

Special thanks to Deano from Deano’s Pub for serving as our MC and treating everyone to his famous Bloody Mary bar. And of course, a huge thank you to Board Director Mike Aiken for putting everything together so seamlessly. We’re also deeply grateful to our volunteers (Special thanks to Max, Susie, Pam, & Joel!)whose hard work ensured the entire day ran smoothly.
