Hello Santee!

Last Wednesday the Chamber hosted an inaugural event to compliment needs we are seeing with local employers: Party with a Purpose was a night of fundraising with efforts going to support bridging a gap between young adults and trade careers as we provide scholarships to high school students looking to enter vocational schools after graduation. Jimmy’s of Santee was such a delightful host for this private event (we highly recommend!). From their festive décor, amazing staff and tasty prefixed menu, our 100+ guests had an evening to remember. Thank you so much to Diah Asker, owner of Jimmy’s, Maria Maes for coordinating the event as a liaison with the chamber, Daniel Buksa of Mission Realty Group for packing the house and to all the generous sponsors and donors for making our evening so special and kickstarting this program for postsecondary education.
