Hello Santee!

On Friday, October 17th, the San Diego Regional East County Chamber of Commerce hosted its 23rd annual Women in Leadership Luncheon. A celebration of remarkable women making an impact across the county. The program featured keynote speaker Dr. Alexandra Kharazi, a distinguished heart surgeon, author, and avid skydiver, whose inspiring message resonated deeply with attendees. She spoke on the importance of resilience and purpose as a leader, sharing both personal stories and practical insights on how women can embrace leadership with confidence and navigate change with strength.

This year’s honorees represented the very best of our region. Their recognition was not only for results achieved but also for the ripple effects of their leadership, the teams they’ve grown, and the people they’ve lifted along the way. With a full house, countless new connections, and dozens of first-time attendees, the luncheon was a powerful reminder of the importance of celebrating and supporting women leaders. I was proud to attend and applaud these incredible women and even had the opportunity to take a photo with a local Santee leader, Kristen Dare!
