Hello Santee!

Earlier this month while we were hosting our annual Veterans Appreciation Golf Tournament, I was able to sneak in a visit while golfers were having their fun on the course. Nick Ortiz, Vice President of Small Business Advocacy for the California Chamber of Commerce, was in the San Diego area and making his rounds with a few local chambers. I was grateful to be one of them. Nick has an impressive resume and his experience is the perfect match for his role at CalChamber. I often credit our chamber’s victories to the people who have supported us along the way and Nick is no exception. His leadership is inspiring to say the least. A few short minutes in conversation will prove him to be one of the biggest believers in the power of the business community. He has an ability to decipher the reasonable from the unreasonable, the easy from the difficult, and he isn’t afraid to jump in and take a stance where needed. He can champion all of it so effortlessly and I look forward to the continued help I will get from him along my journey.
